Well, as a married man, I didn’t exactly dare to risk sleeping on the couch by photoshopping myself next to Halle Berry.

Still, I couldn’t resist paying tribute to that iconic moment in my latest book — Cheaters Exposed! A story about cheating, celebrity scandals, seduction, spying, love, betrayal, and way more.

With high temperatures in the afternoon, most tourists escape to the beach. Cooling down in the ocean or finding shade under umbrellas on the terrace, combined with cold beverages, are effective tactics to combat the heat. Ralph and his family are no exception. It was a lovely family day, with snacks and apple juice for the children while the adults enjoyed a French lunch with loads of wine. Isabella walks to the terrace with a wicker basket containing sun lotion and a gigantic beach towel. The newly bought pink bikini, which didn't leave much to the imagination, made most men and half of the women turn their heads at least twice. Four meters removed from Ralph, Isabella walks past the gigantic billboard used for advertising extended happy hour times. Isabella stands at the bar, ordering an enormous mojito cocktail to control her nerves. James and Sofia are watching from different positions, observing their target with their brand-new binoculars while communicating by mobile phone. James says, “That's a huge cocktail.” Sofia says, “Relax, officer; she just wants to erase the tension. She knows what she is doing. Besides, it's called blending in. Remember?” James says, “I am a little bit worried that we don't have earphones and she can't hear us.” Sofia says, “She is gonna be fine. Besides, Ralph won't do anything with his W Cheaters Exposed 222 wife in the viewing range.” Both of them can see that Ralph is immediately paying attention to how Isabella enjoys the sunlight while lowering the contents of her cocktail glass. Being at the table with his wife and kids, Ralph can only have a quick glimpse, making sure his wife doesn't notice. James says, “This situation reminds me of Malibu. Do you remember?” Sofia laughs and says, “Because Isabella can't hear us, it doesn't mean you can try to bring back the good vibes.” James laughs and says, “Great times. But all seriousness, I am sorry, Sofia; I wish we could go back in time. I would have done things differently.” Sofia says, “Thank you, James.” An awkward silence follows for several minutes. Sofia is unsure about how to think about the whole situation. She still likes James, in some way, but he hurt her a lot. After all, he had lied from the start. Even if she could forgive him, the ease with which he had lied could not be a good sign for the future. Sofia says, “Men are unbelievable.” James says, “What have we done wrong this time?” Sofia says, “The moment Ralph’s wife goes to the bathroom, he immediately starts staring at Isabella.” James says, “That was kind of the plan.” Sofia says, “He is almost drooling water out of his mouth. I texted Isabella that she has been noticed.” Isabella sees the messages and takes a big sip from her mojito to slow down her nervousness. Isabella was known as a flirt, but that was always after guys had shown interest. Taking the initiative wasn't her move. She had only taken the first step once, which was scripted for a YouTube short. Sofia had told her before, “Don't worry, your curved ass and your two natural friends would do all the work. Just wait patiently like bait is waiting for fish.” James added, “Don't forget to make sure his wife and kids don't look, so he can actually exchange numbers.” Isabella sighs and decides to order a second mojito. While standing up, she notices Ralph looking at her cleavage. It was a Nick Haitsma 223 good start that she was being noticed. But what now? Isabella texted back, “Any suggestions?” Sofia immediately texts back, “Wait till an opportunity appears.” In the meantime, Sofia is thinking of a setup. The goal is clear: a quick flirt, exchanging numbers to eventually seduce him in a hotel room. To finish the task with video proof to trade for Ralph's signature on the FLI takeover documents for erasing the footage. They don't know for sure if Ralph has any interest in cheating. The group assumed he would because he is a friend of Christine. Sofia is sure she once saw Ralph and Christine fooling around after an office party. Despite being married, Ralph walked out of the same bathroom as Christine — both adjusting their shirts and pants— just as Sofia opened the door. Ralph's friendship with Christine could result in the fact that he knows all the standard tricks. On the other hand, who could resist somebody with a beautiful, natural body like Isabella? Probably nobody. James says, “I have the solution. Tell Isabella to go for a quick swim. Sofia asks, “Why swim?” James says, “Have you seen that James Bond movie with Halle Berry? Where she walks out of the water and her uh.” James is looking for the right word. Sofia says, “You mean her boobs will be perfectly visible?” James says, “Ralph would notice it.” Sofia says, “Good suggestion. I will text her. But James.” James is waiting for a follow-up and says, “But?” Sofia says, “Please be horny in your free time.” They both laugh. The text message is received, and Isabella finishes her mojito and walks towards the ocean. Sofia zooms in with her binoculars and sees that males of all ages are turning their heads. Fifty seconds later, Sofia laughs aloud when she sees Ralph standing up and walking towards the ocean. Sofia says, “You were right, James, it's working.” James is in silence, enjoying the eye candy as well, wondering if that was her natural walk or if she was shaking her ass on purpose. Sofia notices his silence, Cheaters Exposed 224 switches her binoculars toward James' direction, and says, “James, you know I can see you staring at her. I am definitely gonna tell her!” James says, “I am just ensuring the area is safe.” Isabella relaxes in the water while enjoying the beautiful nature. The ocean gave such a calming vibe. She had been so focused on her influencer career lately that this was the first feeling of a holiday in at least four years. With new collaborations and plenty of money coming in, taking more holidays would be a great idea. Simultaneously, a couple of yachts in the distance motivate her to become an even more prominent influencer. The lack of a phone in the water makes it impossible to receive updates or instructions. But a random turn of her head reveals that Ralph was walking on his way towards the water. Fifteen seconds later, she takes another look, and Ralph is coming closer. The diagonal distance between them was less than four meters. The game plan was agreed upon beforehand: Play hard to get, let him start a conversation, flirt, exchange numbers, and disappear. Isabella dips underwater for a brief two seconds. As she strides back toward the shore, she playfully adjusts her bikini, emphasizing her naturally large breasts that reveal an alluring cleavage. Isabella could see from the corner of her left eye an almost drooling Ralph. The diagonal distance was now less than 1.5 meters. Ralph looks to the beach and realizes he is at an angle where it is impossible to see his wife and vice versa. Ralph waves at Isabella and says, “Hi there, do you like the weather?” Instead of staying silent and being disappointed by an unoriginal pickup line, Isabella fakes a smile and says, “Yes, it's perfect for my tan lines.” Ralph says, “Am I correct that I recognize an American accent? Where are you from?” Isabella says, “Miami baby! I am here for a shoot.” Ralph stares at her body and says, “A bikini shoot?” Isabella says, “It's for jewelry, but yes, I will be in a bikini.” Ralph says, “I think your tan lines Nick Haitsma 225 are perfect. I am already in the mood to buy jewelry.” Isabella says, “Thank you.” Typically, it's an immediate turn-off if guys can’t stop staring at her breasts. For now, it's a good sign. She has to keep the conversation flowing and asks, “What brings you to the island?” Ralph says, “Well, I am a lawyer, and I am visiting some clients.” Isabella says, “That sounds cool.” Ralph says, “Are you all by yourself?” Isabella says, “I am, actually. It's a little bit boring, especially in the evenings. What about you?” Ralph likes those answers and strategically thinks about his reply and says, “I am here with my sister and her kids.” Isabella is glad with his fast lying, knowing that he is into her and says, “That sounds sweet.” Ralph says, “They go to bed early, so in the evenings it's boring as well. We could have a drink if you like. I used to take some photography courses; maybe I can help you prepare.” Isabella says, “That would be helpful. I have my phone on my towel.” Ralph knows exactly where her towel is, but walking with her would be like suicide; he knows his wife would see the interactions. Ralph says, “I left my phone in my apartment. What about ten o'clock tonight? Do you know the White Whale?” Isabella says, “Perfect, see you tonight.” Isabella leaves Ralph behind in the water and walks back with a smile. As an extra insurance, she moves her hips and ass as sexy as possible just in case he is still looking at her. James and Sofia analyze the body language from a distance. Sofia doesn't need an audio confirmation to recognize her best friend's mood. Sofia says, “Step 1 is complete.” James says, “How are you so sure?” Sofia says, “Look at her smile.” James focused slightly lower than her face and quickly reminded himself to stay focused. A text from Isabella confirms the success: Ten PM at the White Whale. They waited for Isabella to get dressed, and together they went their way to find a hotel near the White Whale. The next step would be a complete FLI Cheaters Exposed 226 playbook move: bring Ralph to the hotel room and make video, audio, and picture proof of his desires. Instead of showing the evidence to a client, they will erase it for the required signature. They realized they finally had to enter the world of blackmail. Well, necessity breaks the law.
